After years of counseling in both private and hospital practice, followed by ten years as a hospital chaplain, she now, shares with couples in the lightness, joy and promise of their new life together by performing weddings, as an ordained minister.
She also runs a company, Gratitude@First with her husband in which, among other things, she teaches classes to court-referred as well as self-referred clients by permission:
Clients convicted of shoplifting, for which she was interviewed for a KUTV broadcast in May 2006 on kleptomania. Also to those convicted of anger management violations, for which she was featured twice on the Dr. Phil Show (2002 and 2003) and once on KUTV in 2002.
She teaches Alcohol and Drug Prevention classes for youths and adults. Leslie also leads 6-hour workshops, Getting Rid of Psychic Clutter, for the general population as well as for therapists for continuing education credit.
She also does a 12-week course Support for your Confession with the group deciding how many weeks between each meetings.
